if you are looking for different christmas music and haven't heard of these recordings, here are two suggestions. WHY did i do them? I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC and there were so many beautiful songs that were not being heard at this time of year. AND it CHILD is 'live' with a pear-tree-full of fine musicians.SHUSHAN is a collection I did later adding more songs I had grown to love (handel, etc).

if you are interested in where many of these songs come from, SHUSHAN has very in-depth liner notes by a family friend, Rev. William Lamb. CHILD has extra liner notes by Jim Bessman, a new york music journalist/afficionado who describes the three live shows we did at the famous and now defunkt bottom line club, nyc in 1996. nothing particularly scandalous but fun and mostly true.
