Comedian Rosie Wilby was a Funny Women Finalist 2006 and has taken 4 solo shows to Edinburgh Fringe, including 2009’s award winning The Science Of Sex. She has appeared on Radio 4 Loose Ends, Midweek and Woman’s Hour and has headlined gigs at Sydney Mardi Gras. She co-wrote and co-starred in short film The Bride and Bride at the 2011 London Lesbian And Gay Film Festival and presents Resonance 104.4FM’s LGBT show Out in South London every Tuesday at 6.30pm. Courage. People always say ‘you’re so brave’ when I say I’m a stand up. But, really, I’m hardly rushing into a burning building and saving lives

I’d like to make all LGBT people feel comfortable to be open about who they are without fear

Your idea of happiness?
Dinner with KST. But, in the real world, my girlfriend will do. She’s pretty fab too.
What is your favourite way of spending the day?
Writing – when I occasionally have the time and headspace to do so
Or listening to great music and gazing out of an open window on a sunny day across my beloved South London
Whose life other than yours would you most like to have lived?
David Bowie. I’d have loved to rock that androgynous look and have performed so much great music

What is your present state of mind?
A little ‘scattered’
For what fault have you most toleration?
Indecision. I would be hypocritical not to tolerate it. Girlfriends hate taking me to restaurants and often have to choose for me

My family’s old ‘UK holiday motto’: We don’t mind the weather, when we’re all together
