Season Two

During season two Shane meets Carmen, Jenny goes to Ohio (thank goodness if only she had stayed there)! Bette tries to make up with Tina after her affair but to no avail, oh and what happened to Shane’s hair? It looked so sexy in season one and Kit buys the planet. Sandra Bernhard pops up as a writing coach for Jenny and we get to meet the gorgeous but heartless Helena Peabody in episode two. What a great addition to TLW family - sexy, attractive and from the UK, so a chance that one day I'll bump into her, pure unadulterated beauty!
Bette really goes through it both professionally and emotionally - her on off relationship with Tina, her father being poorly and the stresses of the art gallery. . Jenny and Shane search for a new roommate - this storyline took a very odd twist when he started secretly filming them all. Alice and Dana get it together and boy was it worth the wait - the sex scene was great. Tina finds herself attracted to Helena and comes between her and her ex.
The thing that is so cool about TLW, is as with Armistead Maupin’s Tales of the City books, lots of the characters intertwine, which I suppose happens in life doesn’t it. We meet people who know people, just like with TLW it means they have usually slept together.
So season two takes us to all the places we want to go and some less so… roll on season three!
Unfortunately there is no Marina in this season such a sexy sultry lady - we'll miss her!
