Out There reviewed by American Poet Stephen John Kalinich
By LWDadmin at October 26, 2014 | 5:50 pm | 0 Comment

These are all voices I have not heard. I feel a lot of sadness some triumph and a depth in a lot of it but some of the landscape I really like. It bares fruit I am so foreign to this work and knew so few of the authors. There is a lot of good writing much though provoking and stories are woven. I enjoyed the ‘Forward This Queer’ infinity. Love Burns Bright A lifetime of lesbian romance | Radclyffe
By LWDadmin at February 23, 2014 | 5:53 pm | 0 Comment

Each year we are treated to a selection of stories complied by the brilliant Radclyffe. She also closes the book this year, maybe she does each year. The sub title of this year’s tome, is just perfect. There are stories from lesbians of all ages and paths of life and going back in time in their stories too. One of the standout stories for me is ‘Full Circle’

Best Lesbian Erotica 2014 | Review
By LWDadmin at February 15, 2014 | 7:30 pm | 0 Comment

Kathreen Warnock has once again given us some great stories to titillate… (sorry very bad pun) over. The stories range from romantic to downright dirty, starting off in a steam room and ending in a cab! The imagination of some of the writers is truly staggering; the stories are very well written and take you on a lustful journey into their imagination. Each

V A Fearon The Girl with the Treasure Chest | Review
By LWDadmin at February 11, 2014 | 9:26 am | 0 Comment

I must confess I was concerned about the content of the book. I’m not really keen on reading violent books but my concerns were soon dispelled as I got sucked into the underworld of Dani the protagonist of the book. Dani is a very skilled reader of people and uses that skill in the dark recesses of the North London gang land to which she resides, to try and calm

The Children of Gavrilek by Julie Kirton Chandler | Review

At Christmas time I hooked up with the author Julie Kirton Chandler on Twitter and she was kind enough to accept our invitation to be a guest on our site, (coming soon) she also sent me a copy of her book to read. I am a big Star Trek fan but strangely enough I have never really read any sci fi books, so the prospect of reading a lesbian sci fi book was of course most

We Do!: American Leaders Who Believe in Marriage Equality | Jennifer Baumgardner
By LWDadmin at December 18, 2013 | 9:25 pm | 0 Comment

The flyer states: Remember when bringing up gay marriage was the easiest way to inflame an otherwise mild electorate? This volume demonstrates, through speeches, interviews and commentary, the encouraging story of American acceptance of gay marriage and the roles that politicians - gay and straight - have played in that history. This movement, like all civil rights

I was given this book a while ago to read and review but already had a number of others to review so have only just got around to reading it now. However, it was worth the wait. Just the kind of book I enjoy. It is based around a number of characters but primarily they are all linked to ‘Madcap’ Maxie Mainwaring, the main character. Maxie comes from a wealthy

What a great book, so well written. The thoughts the actions the result of their actions all played out and put down on paper so eloquently in this book. You really get inside the head of Kyla and Asia as they hit relationship meltdown. You get both sides of the story per chapter; what they are thinking, what the other will think, how friends react to the news, reading

What a sizzling read, right from the offset this book is page after page of pure sex but we aren’t talking fantasy here, no this tomb is real life stories. Memories of past erotica re-lived within these pages, what ever your taste, there will be a story here for you. My favourites were Alisson Wonderland, brilliant writing style similar to that of Tom Robbins, I thought
